Zoe has been interest in how and why things work from a young age, due in part to small feats of a engineering that she performs with her grandfather during her summer vacation. She has decided that rather than accepting technological feats as fact, she needs to know why they work. This has inspired her to learn Scratch when she was in lower school and program Sphero to move when she was in middle school; she then moved on to learning coding at her current school, and created a Robotics club with her friend in her high school and both builds cars and writes programs using Anaconda and Python. Zoe has also developed a love for astrophysics since she took an introductory college course on the subject through CTY on Lancaster campus. Because of this experience, Zoe has begun thinking of becoming both an engineer and programmer in the future for NASA or other space programs.
