Julia is currently a high school senior. Throughout college, she hopes to study physics and pursue research in projects that involve studying neutrinos or quantum computing. In high school, she has been a part of a FIRST Robotics Competition team and was nominated by her mentors as a Dean’s List Semifinalist. For her sophomore, junior and senior years, she has also served as the programming lead on her team. She has mentored FIRST LEGO League teams and VEX teams by teaching mechanical, design and programming skills to kids. In addition, she has participated in programs like STEM for Girls, CyberGirlz, and Girls Engineering Math and Science, which help support women interested in science and technology.
