Diana is interested in majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics to study Machine Learning and Number Theory. Diana has been involved with the Technology Student Association, Mu Alpha Theta, Mecha Makos Robotics, National Technical Honor Society, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, and Girls Who Code. Additionally, she has participated in the Columbia Girls in STEM program, Mathroots @ MIT, the MIT Online Science, Technology, and Engineering Community (MOSTEC) program, and iCode Miami Camp. She won the Yale Science and Engineering Association Science Fair Award for her science fair project analyzing the process of electrolysis. Her honors include becoming a National Hispanic Scholar, National AP Scholar, and being a Silver Knight nominee. Her school also gave her the Mount Holyoke Book Award. She has worked as an IT Specialist for Hope For Miami, a non-profit supporting disadvantaged children, and hosted a Winter Break Robotics Camp to teach the kids about technology. Finally, she interned as a website designer for Keller Williams Realty, creating the website miamiaffordablehomes.com.
