Annie, a junior at Middleton, has had a life-long passion for STEM and has taken several AP computer science and STEM classes. Annie is the co-president of Middleton’s Astronomy Club, a member of the varsity math team, and is involved in MHS’s Computer Science, Engineering, and Rocket team clubs. Outside of school, Annie is an intern at UW-Madison's Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center (WIPAC), where she is developing the software for a model of the IceCube neutrino detector. Annie aims to attend a competitive university to study computer science, and astrophysics. After pursuing her undergraduate, graduate, and potential doctoral education, Annie wants to help develop the systems that will bring humans to Mars and apply for NASA’s Astronaut Candidate Program.
