I have been happily married for almost 34 years. I have two children and five granddaughters, which adds fuel to my passion for opening the doors of technology to females. After a 22 year career in business, which included managing multi million dollar systems development projects for a fortune 500 company, I followed her dream to become a teacher. I am in her ninth year of teaching and my fifth year at Hartland High School where I created the Computer Science program and started a girls only technology club. I believe that providing females with the opportunity to explore technology in a safe, non-judgmental environment is the key to unlocking their interest and potential. My desire as an educator is to inspire hope, ignite imaginations and instill a love of technology in students.
