Angelina is currently a junior attending Kalani High School, and has involvement in the STEM field through her robotics team. Although she didn't divulge in the realm of programming, she was still in the technological area. She learned about the design process and how it affects the different aspects of a robot. Following that, she started to learn more about the mechanical aspect of robotics, learning how to cut parts, use power tools, and even weld. Angelina also participated in the academies that her robotics team ran, gaining the lead position for future academies. She taught kindergarteners through third graders how to build and program with Lego WeDo parts and software, while she taught second graders through fifth graders how to build and program with Lego EV3 parts and software. Another academy that she helped teach for was the GTEC (Girls in Technology, Engineering, and Computing) academy, which helped to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) to girls in a comfortable environment; one with all girls. Recently, she has participated in a robotics academy for military families at different Armed Services YMCA locations on the island. Angelina has also participated in FTC (First Tech Challenge), FRC (First Robotics Challenge), as well as VEX.
