I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Education from the University of South Dakota in 2011. I received my Master's of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Dakota in 2014. I have an endorsement in Technology for Education and Training. I have been teaching computer science and media arts at Tea Area High School for 7 years. I have been an advisor for several clubs and organizations. At this time I am an advisor for FBLA. I coach the the CyberPatriots team. I have been a middle school track & field coach for 5 years. I have also been the streaming coordinator for the past 3 years. While not busy coming up with fun projects for my students I stay busy at home helping to raise my 2 young daughters with my wife. I love introducing computer and cybersecurity topics with my daughters. Their enthusiasm helps me think of ways to better introduce and tackle technical topics with my high school students.
