Rutgers University is offering a "Rutgers Aspirations in Computing" Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 for their first year at Rutgers to all the winners of the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing National Award, and all of the winners of the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing New Jersey Affiliate and Philadelphia Affiliate Awards.

Scholarship are offered by the Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences (in conjunction with the Department of Computer Science) and the Rutgers School of Engineering. To receive the scholarship, a student must be accepted through the normal Rutgers admissions procedure and must contact before the start of her first semester. School of Arts and Sciences recipients are required to take at least one class offered by the Department of Computer Science in their first semester at Rutgers.  School of Engineering recipients are required to take Intro to Computers for Engineers during their first semester at Rutgers.
