College students, put your smarts to work with a Viacom internship! You'll crank up your skill set by getting real-world experience at a top-notch media and entertainment powerhouse. Internships are open to college juniors and seniors, though some departments also accept graduate students and law school students.
Viacom's Summer Associate Program is a competitive program for recent college grads--those who have social media savvy and dig all things digital. Over the course of 10 weeks, Associates will be exposed to all facets of the business, working with mentors to create a project to present to top-level execs. Call it an inside track on the fast track.

The 2013-2014 Georgia Aspirations Award Ceremony will take place on Friday, March 14, 2014. The Georgia Award Ceremony will begin with a reception at 5:30pm, followed by the award program beginning promptly at 6:00pm. (Location TBA)
In addition to the award ceremony, Georgia Award winners and runners-up will have the opportunity to participate in an afternoon workshop on the Georgia Institute of Technology campus. The workshop will begin with registration at 11:00am, followed by lunch and an interactive competition.
Placement and duration: Summer Analysts (10–14 weeks) and Co-ops (4 months) are recruited and placed into a specific development, infrastructure or business analyst team. These programs are designed to offer a real world, project-based experience of what it’s like to be a technologist for a top financial Firm.

Students and faculty from UW's computing majors will introduce you to the broad range of problems computing can address. Representatives from local technology companies will show cool demos and tell you why they love their jobs.

The South Carolina Award for Aspirations in Computing will be held in conjunction with the third bi-annual Carolinas Women in Computing conference at the Marriott Courtyard in Mount Pleasant, SC from February 7-8, 2014.
