Women in Computer Science (WiCS) is a scholarship-based,residential, weeklong discovery of this fascinating field which is now an integral part of all aspects of our lives. Experience different areas of computing including programming, artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, visualization, mobile computing and security.
Please submit an original creation (artwork, code, writing, letter, poetry, photograph, etc.) to be included in a scrapbook honoring the 2014 NCWIT Pioneer Award Winner, Eleanor Kolchin! Ms. Kolchin will be presented with the commemorative scrapbook at the NCWIT Summit, May 19-21, 2014 in Newport Beach. Each participant that submits an original submission will receive an NCWIT ribbon hair tie.

NYC ladies: register for the FIRST Social & VIP dinner with Bloomberg on April 4, 2014 from 3:30-8PM.
The FIRST Social will be held at the Javits Center again this year from 3:30-4:30PM and then we'll head over to Bloomberg for the VIP AiC Dinner with Bloomberg Developers from 5:00-8:00 PM
Applications will be accepted from any student computing or IT related student group that is involved in recruiting, retaining and supporting women in technology related majors and are therefore in alignment with the mission of NCWIT. The institution where the student group resides must be a U.S. university and a member of the NCWIT Academic Alliance as listed here: http://www.ncwit.org/alliance.academic.php.
The Southern Utah Community is proud to host the Second Award for Aspirations NCWIT Women in Computing in Southern Utah on March 28th 2015 (11.30- 3.30 p.m) on Southern Utah University (SUU) campus, Cedar City, Utah. The event will be held in the Great Hall of the Hunter Conference Center on SUU's campus. We will be inviting ALL the 75 young women with a handful of these women receiving an award to both congratulate and recognize their hard work and achievement in the field of computing.
