The Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California—Irvine offers a $1,000 scholarship to any recipient of the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing who enrolls at UCIrvine and declares a major offered by the Bren School.

The NCWIT AspireIT K-12 Outreach Program is currently looking for volunteers to help review applications!
Reviewers typically spend 2-3 hours to review applications. We will assign applications on July 20, 2015 and you will have until July 27, 2015 to complete your reviews. Applications are read and scored online at your own pace and detailed instructions are provided. You do not need technical experience to review AspireIT program applications.
Texas State University and Dripping Springs High School worked together last year on an IEEE funded STEM project that included university professors advising high school teachers and curriculum content for multi-disciplinary STEM courses for high school boys and girls. It included outreach to the high school girls robotic club.
Lewis University will give one scholarship of $1,000 to an Aspirations Award winner or runner-up who enrolls at Lewis University and majors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. If multiple students choose to take advantage of this opportunity, Lewis will choose one scholarship recipient based on her academic credentials and record of leadership.
