Change The Game is Google Play’s program to support women in mobile gaming, with a mission to make the industry truly for everyone by empowering women as players and creators. Although half of mobile game players are women, our research has shown that women feel like most mobile games aren’t relevant to them, while only 27.8% of the gaming industry identifies female.

SPLASH is an online introductory secure programming logic course offered by Towson University that prepares girls to begin programming in any language.  High school students who successfully complete the course earn four college course credits.

The Women in Computer Science (WiCS) program is a weeklong residential program aimed at providing high school women with a broad overview of the computing field.   Students experience a variety of areas within computing science through activities and guest lectures.  Example topics covered include robotics, security, data science and virtual reality.  Through web interviews, students have an opportunity to interact with alumnae from across the country to learn about various career opportunities.  This is a scholarship-based program.

The Summer Immersion Program is a FREE 7-week summer program for 10th–11th grade girls (rising juniors and seniors) to learn the computer science skills they need to make an impact in their community and be competitive in the job market of the future. Classrooms are hosted at influential tech companies, where girls will be exposed to mentors and role models.
