Introduction and overview to key activities for Affiliate Coordinators.
The NCWIT AspireIT K-12 Outreach Program is currently looking for volunteers to help review applications!
Reviewers typically spend 2-3 hours to review applications. We will assign applications on July 20, 2015 and you will have until July 27, 2015 to complete your reviews. Applications are read and scored online at your own pace and detailed instructions are provided. You do not need technical experience to review AspireIT program applications.
Saint Louis University will offer $500 scholarships for the Aspiration Award winners from the Missouri/Illinois affiliate enrolling in a degree program offered through the College of Arts and Sciences.
The Global Education Conference (November 17-22, 2014) is a collaborative, inclusive, world-wide community and online conference involving STUDENTS, educators, and organizations at all levels. It is designed to significantly increase opportunities for connecting classrooms while supporting cultural awareness and recognition of diversity and educational access for all.
This January, Open Whisper Systems will be hosting a Winter Break Of Code. We’ve managed to get access to a large beachfront house in Kauai for three weeks, and we’re inviting people to join us. If you’re interested in spending one to three weeks in Hawaii working collaboratively on an Open Source project to make private communication simple, we’ll take care of your airfare and housing so that you can be there.

The University of Connecticut School of Business will provide a scholarship between $250-$500 during the 2nd semester of freshmen year to NCWIT Aspirations in Computing winners and runners up who meet the following criteria:
Attending the UConn School of Business in one of the following majors:
- Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Management & Engineering for Manufacturing (MEM)
- Business Data Analytics (BDA)
The scholarship may also be renewed in subsequent years.
