Lani W.

Lani is a senior at Needham High School who is currently developing a multiplatform navigational accessibility app with Dart, Flutter, and Google ARCore at Olin College of Engineering's Crowd Sourcing and Engineering Lab. Beforehand, she accumulated experience with a variety of different organizations, from becoming project manager of her First Tech Challenge team to winning her district's Congressional App Challenge alongside leading a team of programmers. In the future, she would like to see herself majoring in software engineering at college while still keeping in touch with her FTC team to continue teaching and lending Java resources for years to come. She hopes that she will be able to delve into brain-computer interface projects surrounding mental health as well as develop technical skills in soft robotics in an innovative career path beyond her education one day.
