NCWIT Hack Club

Hack Club
Available October 04 thru December 31, 2021

[email protected]

Calling all coders! If you are starting or already run a coding club at your school, consider making it a Hack Club! We are the largest network of technical high schoolers in the world. Code with your friends, make art, websites, AI bots and interactive games. Meet amazing female leaders, like SpaceX COO Gwynne Shotwell, who spoke at Hack Club last Fall.

This September, Arianna Martinelli, 17, launched a Hack Club at her school in Louisville, Kentucky, and she later won a top NCWIT award.

“At my all-girls high school, not everyone can take a computer science course and coding seems intimidating, so I started my Hack Club to create an inclusive community that offers a space to learn coding alongside other creative girls,” Arianna says. “It’s incredible to see club members’ faces light up when they run their code and see the website they just built appear on the screen.”

Applications are open for the 2021-22 school year for all genders, and pre-existing clubs are welcome to apply (there is no deadline to submit). Write to [email protected] with any questions.

Don't run your coding club alone - make it a Hack Club!
