Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) provides an opportunity to raise awareness
about the impact of computing, the richness of computing careers, and the critical need for
computer science (CS) education. CSEdWeek is a call to action to inspire students and
colleagues about CS education, to employ new and better strategies for engagement, and to
connect with the broader community around the need for and value of CS education.
Learn and Earn Prizes with NGCP and Beyond for CSEdWeek
CSEdWeek is December 6-12, 2021. This year's theme is #CSEverywhere.
From December 6-12, 2021 students will be able to interact with fun games and challenges that give them the awareness that technology is not ‘one-size-fits-all’.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about tech and earn prizes, including gift cards and personalized video messages from one of their favorite celebrities. Our CSEdWeek activity can be used as an icebreaker at the beginning of instruction to get students excited about exploring tech careers in various industries including music, beauty, sports, fashion, and entertainment.
To confirm your participation, visit www.beyondcareerfinder.com or sign your students up by submitting a participation form. Don't miss out on this year’s collaboration! Your students will thank you later.
The National Girls Collective Project is proud to be joining forces with Beyond for CSEdWeek and to celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2022. This collaborative partnership will highlight the spectrum of the technology industry through Beyond’s gamified learning ecosystem, campaigns, and events. Learn more about our partnership in the press release.
