The Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh is pleased to announce it will offer up to $5,000 to any winner of the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must enroll at The University of Pittsburgh in the fall of 2013 or 2014 and declare a CS major within a year of enrolling at Pitt. Once the student declares CS as their major (usually done in their sophomore year), students will then receive the scholarship. Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA overall and in the major. The scholarship may be renewable for up to 3 additional years.
