WHAT IS APPLE WOMEN’S HEALTH STUDY?

In the first study of its kind, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health has teamed up with Apple and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) to gain a deeper understanding of how certain demographic and lifestyle factors could have an impact on periods and gynecologic conditions including infertility, menopause, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN OUR STUDY IF:

The end goal is to offer a diverse menu of online and in-person choices for women of the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing (AiC) Community as well as those who qualify through the Michigan Digital Skills Pilot, regardless of their location or schedule. These opportunities will be paid through the Digital Skills grant at no cost to the participant.

That’s why we created Apple Entrepreneur Camp for organizations founded and led by women. Our goal is to help these entrepreneurs as they work on the next generation of cutting-edge apps and to form a global network that encourages the pipeline and longevity of women in technology. Attendees participate in a hands-on technology lab with one-on-one code-level guidance and receive mentorship, inspiration, and unprecedented access to Apple engineers and leaders.

The NCWIT IT Professional maintains all technology applications (cloud, open source, vendor created) and websites used by NCWIT staff and NCWIT programs. This includes but is not limited to fixing code on NCWIT platforms, testing code to see if it runs properly, and developing new software to ensure successful implementation of NCWIT programs.
