2017-18 marks the 6th year of the Idaho Affiliate Award. Over the last 5 years, this award has recognized 61 girls from high schools all over Idaho and 6 educators.

Past award winners include students from the following schools: Bishop Kelly, Boise Senior High, Borah Senior High, Carey High, Centennial High, Columbia High, Compass Academy, COMPASS Public Charter, Filer High, Idaho Virtual Academy, Kimberly High, Les Bois Junior High, Madison Senior High, Melba High, Meridian High, Meridian Technical Charter, Mountain Home High, Mountain View High, Nampa Senior High, New Plymouth High School, Orofino High, Parma High, Ridgevue High, Rocky Mountain High, Sandpoint High, Timberline High, Vallivue High, Weiser High and a home school.

The 2017 Educator Award Winner was Rebecca Torek from Meridian Technical Charter High School and the 2017 Honorable Mention Educator was Tegan Byerly from Ridgevue High School.

In addition to award recognition and possibly earning scholarships for college, applicants and award winners will connected with a large network of other technical young women. Aspirations Award recipients are chosen for their outstanding aptitude and interest in computing, proven leadership ability, academic performance, and plans for post-secondary education.
