Google Code-in is a global, online contest introducing 13-17 year old pre-university students to open source software development. The contest started on Monday, November 28. Prizes include certificates, t-shirts, hoodies and 34 grand prize winners will win a trip to Google headquarters in California, USA next summer for themselves and a parent or legal guardian.  

Over the past 6 years 3,213 students from 99 countries have completed work in the contest.
