BDPA Triangle Chapter is launching its 6th year of the Student Information Technology Education & Scholarship (SITES) program, an intellectually challenging program that builds self-esteem through the mastery of applied computer science. Students in grades 9th through 12th who live in the Triangle area are eligible to participate in the program. The comprehensive program creates a foundation for student academic and career success. We hope you will encourage students attending your school to participate.

SITES is a nationally recognized program aimed at increasing the success of students who enter collegiate environments and technology-laden workplaces by exposing them to the rigors of work life through development of their Computer, Information and Internet Technology skills to solve business problems.

The SITES course is a comprehensive program lead by IT professionals, which provides students with the Internet technology skills essential in a global economy. The 12-week (Saturday Academy) course includes course manual and web-based content, student performance tracking, hands-on-labs, instructor training and support, and focuses on current industry trends. In addition, scholarships are awarded each year.
