Host an Award

Why Host an Award

The NCWIT Aspirations in Computing award applicants represent a rich and ready source of young women highly qualified to enter the computing and IT workforce. Recognizing and encouraging their interest at this early stage could be the catalyst that propels them into studying computer science in college and ultimately pursuing a career in computing and information technology.

The award program leverages the network of over 450 NCWIT member organizations to recognize increasingly more girls each year by implementing the award locally. Hosting a local award program is fun, easy, and rewarding! Local award hosts can be universities, corporations, K-12 organizations, or a team of organizations working together. Local award programs can be any size, serving an entire state, a region, or metro area.
